Vellum Projects “New Print Horizons”

Organized by Stephanie Young Vellum Magazine is embarking on a Special Project, “New Print Horizons,” to discover and expose artists locally, nationally and internationally to a wider audience. The project features 20 artists in an exhibit coinciding with a Special Edition of Vellum Magazine, which will travel to art fairs around the globe including Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Liste and Zona Maco Mexico.

Visual Artist/Poet Marcia Scanlon will read from Poems, Mythological, the first publication of her poetry. Copies of the book will be on sale after the reading. Scanlon is moved by the exquisite limning of human experience in ancient works of Greek and Roman mythology. She uses myth to frame her response, with wit and irreverence, to modern dilemmas.
