Statement

My work tells about my story. The inspiration in artist books comes from a person or a text which I meet and which makes an impression to me. My research deals with my emotions, linked to the search of memories, roots, secrets. One work leads to another, being like a long walk, step after step, on my own way. Even if my inspiration comes from the outside world which surrounds me, I’m talking about my private and intimate life.

I developed different languages: artist books, paintings, etchings, which altogether create a coherent language, like the different parts of a puzzle. Each medium reveals a part of me. Each medium is a whole world in itself. Colour is my true expression, with its vibration, its strength. Even black and white etchings deal with the symbolic power of the black and the white. The spectator is invited to share a moment with me, to share an emotion,or perhaps a secret…
