Clifton Meador has been making books for thirty years. He still finds the codex, as an artistic form, deeply engaging. His books frequently combine photography, writing, and design as part of a unified whole: the book as an original experience in art.

Meador is currently the Director of the M.F.A. program in Book & Paper at Columbia College, Chicago and Editor of the Journal of Artists’ Books.
