Preoccupied with the human condition, I have explored in my paintings, books, and works on paper, social issues and to a larger degree women’s issues inspired by myth, history and current events, blending the personal with the collective, the inner with the outer and the past with the present. Themes of growth, mortality and the process of grieving are also expressed in my work. Recently, I have been working in a more abstract manner and have related this new visual language to the themes of Labyrinth and the Cosmos.
