The original title of this altered found book, Bouquet , and the authors names, “Myrna Davis . Paul Davis” are still visible on the spine. But the transformed book now offers a journey of color, shape and painterly energy unanticipated by the authors. The original contents, short retellings of myths about garden flowers, survives only as a fragment on the “Peony” page, cut and paint-veiled text on another page where the word the “butterflies” is visible and by the phrase “spreading her wings” unpainted on another.
