A hard-cover hexagonal accordion-fold book, consisting of 22 pigment prints on Canson Rag Photographique paper. The book unfolds into a hexagonal labyrinth of 20 medallions of iconic coal-hole and man-hole covers seen on the streets of New York City. On the verso of the unfolded set is a large-scale image of one of the 20 covers. Each of the books displays a unique image of one of the 20 covers displayed on verso.

Each book is accompanied by a hexagonal accordion-fold pamphlet describing each cover and offering a web link for further information. The pamphlet is printed with pigment ink on Asuka kozo and pulp paper.
