Sun and Stones, 2022

This work belongs to the series “Stones” inspired by the cycle of poems “The Stones of Chile” by Pablo Neruda. The series consists of this book and 10 paintings entitled: In Dialogue with Stones I-X, also on the website.

“For me stones are history. They are like trees, symbols of strength and endurance. They speak of war, peace, poverty and of the pain of the people that walk between them. They represent the past, the present and the future.”
